Myteksonic has recently launched their affordable yet comprehensive Digital Signage Software solution. A cloud based solution hosted in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Budapest, Hungary this software is set to shake up Southern Africa's Digital Signage market. "The software package is very affordable, extremely capable for even the biggest of clientele yet very simple enough to be used buy the smallest one shop business." said Jonathan Kgatshe, Myteksonic's Managing Director. Digital Signage is one of the worlds fastest growing global industries and is said to be worth $32.84 Billion by year 2023. "The benefits of incorporating digital signage into business are huge and far outweigh the setup costs involved, a significant ROI will be achievable. As a fairly new technology some hardware systems are still expensive but prices are coming down as more & more solutions become available to consumers & businesses a like" said Kgatshe.
The software offered by Myteksonic is very simple to use and can cater for any requirement be it big or small as all major components are hosted in the cloud. The system compromises of 3 main units : The Signage Server, The Signage Editor and The Signage Player.
The Signage Server is what controls content deployment, creation & access of various user accounts, screen creation & management.
The Signage Editor is a simple "drag & drop" content creation application. It is based very closely on Microsoft's PowerPoint application just with much more functionality & a user friendly interface. Any type of content can easily be created here with ease. Some of the features include advanced animation, RSS feeds, Live video UDP streaming, slide shows, YouTube players and so much more.
The Signage Player is a software application that can either run on Microsoft Windows or Google's Android platforms. This app is what connects the global servers to the display screens for content playback. To make Digital Signage more accessible, there is a hardware player that allows the signage player application to be installed on it, then connecting to any HDMI screen. This feature now allows users with normal LCD's to play content without the need to go purchase expensive Android Tv's or LCD's running Microsoft's Windows.
"We want to give all businesses access to advance digital signage solutions, the motto of 'Any Content, Any Screen, Anywhere' is very true. Now small businesses like nail bars, hairdressers, small restaurants, internet cafes, and any other business that wants digital signage, have a class leading solution aimed directly at them" said Myteksonic's Managing Director Jonathan Kgatshe.
There are no hidden cost's as Myteksonic has kept the solution as simple and transparent as can be. Potential customers will pay a monthly license fee per software player and if they require the hardware player box in the event their screens aren't running Android or Windows, this box can then be purchased once off. Customers can then have their graphics department create content for them or allow Myteksonic to custom create content for them at a separate cost. On the Signage server a multitude of users can be created with different permissions, thus allowing only authorized content to be displayed.
This software can be used by any business in any industry to display any content or message at a click of a mouse button. "The world is your oyster"
